Boho Group applies for extended planning permission to expand restaurant offering at Boho Club Marbella after successful summer

Following the successful launch of Bohi Bar during the summer, the Board of Directors of Boho Group AB (publ) ("Boho Group" or the "Company") has decided to further develop the restaurant offering at Boho Club Marbella. The plan includes an application for 600 square metres of new development, which is expected to be granted in 2025 through a special planning process for properties of importance to the region's tourism industry, for which Boho Club qualifies. The Company has estimated the value of the new development rights, before development and after deducting development costs, to be approximately EUR 3.0 million. The introduction of the Bohi Bar has not only strengthened the Boho Club brand but has also generated revenue which has attracted interest from several leading global restaurant operators to establish themselves on the property. This decision is in line with the Boho Group's vision that each Boho Club should be a destination in itself, regardless of location.

"This is a strategic decision that strengthens our position as one of the region's leading boutique hotels. By expanding our restaurant offering, we can offer an even more attractive guest experience and ensure that our guests return time and time again," says Boho Group CEO Andreas Bonnier.

Having successfully met the criteria required to qualify as a business of major importance to the region's tourism industry, Boho Club now has the opportunity to expand the property by up to 600 square metres. A building permit application will be submitted to the relevant authorities shortly, but the Company has already ensured that all requirements for approval are met.

The new development rights are planned to be used to expand the existing restaurants by up to 140 seats and to open a brand-new restaurant on the site. For this new venture, the Company is currently in discussions with some of the world's leading restaurant brands in the luxury segment.
