Swedish agritech company BoMill AB takes another step towards the brewing and malting industry – by becoming supporting member of the prestigious German association of brewery and malting, Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei in Berlin (VLB). In cooperation with VLB, BoMill will further assess the benefits of its patented technology for the brewing and malting industry.

The Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei in Berlin was founded in 1883 by German brewers and maltsters. VLB has since been working in the field of research, development, and training for the brewing industry. It is an independent institute, co-operating with Berlin University of Technology in the field of brewing science.

"We are very happy to join VLB, a renowned association with extensive knowledge of the malting and brewing industry. We believe our technology can be a game-changer for the industry, and working with VLB we can further explore its potential", says Denis Boissau, Marketing Manager at BoMill.

BoMill is the only company on the market that allows accurate sorting of grains, in large quantities, based on individual kernel’s internal properties. The BoMill technology results in homogeneous fractions, to suit different needs – such as homogeneous protein levels in the barley for the malting and brewing industry.

Joining forces with VLB, BoMill will further assess the benefits of the technology the company offers, with special regards to the malting and brewing industry.
