K3 AX goes gold with Microsoft
K3 AX has strengthened its partnership with Microsoft after achieving the latest Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status for its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
Accreditation to the latest Gold Partner status has been changed recently by Microsoft and made more difficult to earn their top level status.
K3 AX provides Microsoft Dynamics AX-based enterprise software solutions. The company is a Microsoft inner circle member and a previous certified Gold Partner and has worked hard to acquire the new gold status after demonstrating high levels of competency to Microsoft in a number of critical areas.
These critical areas include demonstrating that at least six people passed exams based around the AX product and supporting technology, plus five or six customer references to underline K3 AX’s quality of work. Additionally, the company needed to have sold a specific number of Dynamics AX-based enterprise software solutions over the course of a year, while the quality of its service had to be supported via a Microsoft customer satisfaction survey.
K3 AX’s Paul Fryer said: “Microsoft has being looking to raise the bar in terms of the criteria required to achieve the gold certification for some time. This, plus the fact that we have improved our own standards of quality has meant that we have exceeded the high expectation levels of Microsoft, which in turn has put us ahead of many of our competitors. There are a lot of hurdles to jump over and hoops to go through to reach the required new standard, and achieving it is just the start.”
The Microsoft accreditation news has come after K3 AX recently posted an impressive set of half year results to December 2010, largely driven by a series of major contract wins. Despite difficult trading conditions the company made sales of £1.2m for the six month period.
