New partnership combats unnecessary 61% hike in business energy bills
Businesses will be supported in defeating excess energy costs due to a new partnership between a leading UK energy monitoring company, Advanced Carbon Energy Solutions and leader in the live monitoring field, Logic Energy.
This partnership comes hot-on-the-heels of recent reports by Energy Forecaster (www.energyforecaster.co.uk) revealing that a third of UK businesses may be paying as much as 61 per cent more than the average electricity bill as a result of energy suppliers automatically rolling over their customer’s energy contracts.
Midlands based Advanced Carbon Energy Solutions Limited (ACES) has already created massive savings for large companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, Walkers Crisps, and Twycross Zoo. They will now be partnering with Logic Energy who will help ACES customers’ monitor their energy efficiency by using their new and innovative hidden and intelligent technology for M2M (Machine to Machine) systems and Renewable Energy using smart connectivity.
The Energy Forecaster report continued to find that the average annual electricity bill for a typical business electricity contract negotiated in September 2012 was £2,600, whereas the average for a business which has been rolled over by their supplier was £2,400.
Businesses that take advantage of the monitoring technologies provided by Advanced Carbon Energy Solutions and Logic Energy will potentially be able to see up to a 30% saving in energy bills. It has recently been found by nPower that 50% of businesses are not taking advantage of such solutions, which illustrates the added risk they are putting their business finances in.
