A new proposal for the Chairman of the Board will be presented later

On July 30, Brighter announced that the proposed Chairman of the Board, Håkan Nyberg, had chosen to resign from the nomination for personal reasons. The Nomination Committee has since worked hard to be able to present a new candidate for the Extraordinary General Meeting today, 31 July at 10.00. There is a candidate with mutual interest - but further discussions and formalities remain before the candidate can be presented.

“We hoped to finish all the formalities before today's meeting, but unfortunately the few hours have not been enough. We would rather work slowly and correctly instead of fast and incorrectly, not least against the background of what has just happened. Therefore, we do not rush into a decision with a proposal for today's shareholder meeting, instead the Extraordinary General Meeting may take a position on the five proposed board members. If the new Board of Directors is approved, they may decide who will hold the chairmanship during a transitional period. I would like to emphasize that Truls Sjöstedt has said that he will of course support the chairman, but he himself will not run as a candidate for the chairmanship, says Dennis Westermark, chairman of the nomination committee.
