Today, Brighter AB (publ) obtained EC certificates (CE marking) for its new product Actiste Mini – a smart and user-friendly blood glucose meter with global out-of-the-box connectivity through eSIM, supporting successful diabetes management and monitoring.

The new device, based on the original Actiste hardware technology platform, will be a key component in a new service currently being developed by Brighter.

“We are continuously working with IP and product development, and this is yet another project with great potential that we are proud to announce to the world. The Actiste Mini CE marking is an important milestone, and a great example of the well-functioning relationship we have established with the Notified Body. We will now be working on finalising the complete service, which is still under development, and preparing it for the market. I very much look forward to the official launch once everything is in place, says Henrik Norström, CEO of Brighter.

With Actiste Mini, and the original Actiste service aimed at insulin dependent diabetes, Brighter will be able to address the whole diabetes community.

“Although the Actiste Mini aims at a more competitive market, in comparison with Actiste, the market conditions are favorable due to the direct B2C and e-commerce opportunities within this segment,” says Henrik Norström, CEO of Brighter.
