Brighter has reported personal data incident to the Privacy Protection Agency (IMY)
Brighter has today reported a personal data incident to IMY. This after the company discovered that an employee had, without clear authority, gained access to content in other employees' e-mail accounts.
”We believe the incident only concerns email accounts within Brighter's organization. Brighter takes what has happened seriously because we care about the privacy of our employees. It is not acceptable that someone can gain access to information without clear authority," says Christer Trägårdh, acting CEO of Brighter.
Brighter has, in line with the company's procedures for any kind of data incident, initiated a full review of the ongoing control routines regarding data privacy.
