Changes in the offering
Based on Swedish Securities Councils statement earlier today, after further discussions with interested parties, Brighter has now chosen to comply with the formal recommendation and therefore organize public trading in subscription rights in connection with the present rights issue. The significance of this is that the company will now adjust the issue offer that was published on November 18 and organize trading in subscription rights.
“The important thing for Brighter is still that as much as possible of the proceeds goes to the company and thus benefits the shareholders. The change in the offering will not add any guarantors or similar players,” says Henrik Norström, CEO of Brighter AB.
Trading in subscription rights will continue from December 18, 2019 through January 8, 2020. The subscription period in the offer will be extended and will thus run from December 13, 2019 through January 10, 2020.
The prospectus that the company has prepared for the issue needs to be updated with the new information but is expected to be approved and published during the evening.
