CLARIFICATION AS REGARDS CANCELLATION OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN BRIGHTER
Referring to the press release dated 15 June 2021 that announces the cancelation of Brighter’s annual general meeting on 17 June, the company wishes to make additional details available. There were two specific reasons for the cancelation of the AGM. The first was that the company’s annual report was not made available within the proper timeframe. This would jeopardize the validity of the resolutions made at the annual general meeting. Secondly, there was a mistake of omission made on the postal voting form; Several board members who were supposed to be subject to the meeting’s resolution on discharge from liability were not included in the postal voting form. The company opted to cancel and reschedule the AGM to, without question, make sure that all stakeholders have equal opportunity to vote and to assure that all resolutions are valid.
