DROP-IN TO DISCUSS AIRPORT MATTERS Bristol International Airport will hold a ‘drop-in’ meeting for local residents at Felton Village Hall on Wednesday 22nd July. Community Relations Manager, Mike Littleton, will be available from 4pm – 6pm to answer queries about all areas of the airport’s operations. Wednesday’s session will be the first of several opportunities for local people to meet Mike face-to-face at a convenient location away from the airport site, with similar meetings in other neighbouring villages planned over the coming months. Although it takes place during North Somerset Council’s consultation on Bristol International Airport’s planning application, the drop-in session is not limited to questions about the development proposals. As well as addressing any concerns, Mike will provide updates on job opportunities at the airport as well as details of new routes and services. No appointment is necessary. However, to enable Mike to meet with as many people as possible during the allocated time, follow-up meetings will be arranged if required to address more detailed issues. “I meet regularly with parish councillors, chambers of commerce and other local groups, and am always available to discuss any issues with local people. However, by holding a drop-in session at a venue in a local village I hope to be able to answer queries from those who may not have the time or transport to enable them to visit the airport.” Ends For further information please contact: Mike Littleton, Bristol International Airport 01275 475478 / 07747 487253
