During the third quarter, the largest by sales, sales increased 6 percent and operating profit (EBITA) increased 19 percent. Byggmax growth initiatives gave good results, gross margin was strong and cost control remained solid. Q2 Interim Report January - June 2019

In the second quarter Byggmax Group developed positively despite a more cautious market: sales and gross margin increased, cost control remained strong, Byggmax continued to take market share and Skånska Byggvaror increased profitability for the fourth consecutive quarter. Byggmax opened a new store in Ljungby this morning. Byggmax continues to grow and now operates a total of 103 stores in Sweden. During the fourth quarter, the strategic plan continued to be implemented at a high pace and sales and profitability increased year-on-year. Byggmax continue to expand – open new stores in Älmhult, Lund, Ljungby and Kongsberg 2019

Last year Byggmax opened a total of 18 new stores in Finland, Norway and Sweden. Positive effects of strategic efforts, challenging external factors During the third quarter, implementation of the strategic plan continued at a high pace. The quarter was also affected by challenging external factors.
