Cabonline Group Holding AB (publ) (“Cabonline”) signs agreement to acquire Taxi Västerås, including five subsidiaries

Taxi Västerås and its five subsidiaries (“Taxi Västerås”) currently have 148 taxis and are the largest supplier of B2B services in Sweden’s Västmanland region, which is experiencing robust growth.The acquisition strengthens Cabonline’s position in Central Sweden. Cabonline already operates in the regions surrounding Västmanland: Uppsala, Södermanland and Örebro.  

The acquired operations comprise 148 taxis, 40 of which are owned by Taxi Västerås and the remaining 108 by connected transporters. In 2018, Taxi Västerås had revenue of approximately MSEK 150. A relatively large portion pertained from public contracts. Following the acquisition, Taxi Västerås’s offering will be integrated with Cabonline’s existing service offering and gradually be adapted to Cabonline’s business model. Cabonline will take over the operations as of 1 May 2019.
