The 9th Annual Mike Metcalfe 30 Hour Soccer Marathon for Cancer kicks off once again

CALGARY – Mike Metcalfe, cancer survivor and community philanthropist and his friends will kick off 30 straight hours of soccer at the Calgary Soccer Centre. The event kicks off  Friday, November 2, at 4 pm and runs straight through until Saturday, November 3 at 10 pm. The Soccer Marathon began in the fall of 2004 after Mike was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Mike’s friends rallied together after watching him endure over 500 hours of chemotherapy and treatment for his cancer.
