California Hotel & Lodging Association Honored for Excellence in Events and Fundraising
Sacramento, CA – The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) is the recipient of the International Society of Hotel Association Executives (ISHAE) 2015 Award of Excellence for Events and Fundraising. The award honored CH&LA for hosting the Hotel Owner Conference this past June which experienced a dramatic increase in attendance, industry visibility and net profitability for CH&LA.
The ISHAE Awards of Excellence were presented on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, during the 29th annual ISHAE Winter Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jennifer Flohr, Sr. Vice President accepted the award on behalf of CH&LA.
The 2015 Hotel Owner Conference took place at the Silverado Resort & Spa in the Napa Valley. The conference started off with a reception hosted by Chef Robert Irvine from the TV show Restaurant Impossible. The conference included a full day of presentations from HVS, Atlas Hospitality, Quality Management Services, Hotel Guru Robert Rauch and a legislative update. Attendees were also able to attend round table “mini-education” sessions on a variety of hospitality topics.

ISHAE Awards for Excellence are given annually to the best lodging association programs and services and is widely recognized within the hotel and lodging industry.
