California Tourism Safety & Security Conference
The California Hotel & Lodging Association is holding its 14th annual California Tourism Safety & Security Conference at the Marriot Newport Beach Hotel & Spa on September 17, 2013. With a diverse audience, and a unique blend of nuts and bolts training content and networking, this annual conference has grown to be the largest of its kind in the nation.
This year’s conference features an Active Shooter Prevention & Response educational session presented by the ALICE training institute. Since its inception, ALICE has been adopted by more than 900 organizations, representing more than one million people across the U.S.

Detectives, emergency services planners, beach patrol officers, loss prevention managers, community policing officers, disaster planning officials, and directors of sales and general managers of hospitality venues should also attend.
