CH&LA Statement on San Diego City Council Short-Term Rental Vote

SACRAMENTO, CA. – Aug. 2, 2018 – The California Hotel & Lodging Association issued the following statement about the San Diego City Council vote on short-term rental ordinance:

 “We applaud the City Council’s affirmation of its decision to provide citizens of San Diego with strong safeguards that protect neighborhoods, provide access to housing and ensure local hospitality jobs,” said Lynn Mohrfeld, President and CEO, California Hotel & Lodging Association.  “We encourage the Mayor to adopt and sign the measure as soon as possible so San Diego can reduce the negative impact short-term rentals have on its local community.”
