Handlery Foundation Donates $5,000 to the California Hotel & Lodging Association Education Foundation
Sacramento, CA – The Handlery Foundation is giving back to the hospitality community through a $5,000 donation to the California Hotel & Lodging Association Education Foundation (CH&LAEF) scholarship program.
The Handlery Foundation has been an essential supporter of the CH&LA Education Foundation and its mission to foster the education of our future hospitality industry leaders. For two generations, the Handlery family has been a very active member of the California Hotel & Lodging Association for many years with Jon Handlery currently sitting on the board of directors.

Hundreds of students and lodging industry employees have benefited from the generosity of the Handlery Foundation and CH&LA Education Foundation thanks them for their commitment and encourages others in supporting the future of our industry.

The California Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (CH&LAEF) is the not-for-profit educational arm of the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA). CH&LAEF is dedicated to developing hospitality leaders of the future, providing continuing education for current hospitality employees, and funding research to shape the future of California’s lodging industry. Since its inception, over $1 million has been distributed through CH&LAEF’s scholarship, education, outreach, and research programs. CH&LAEF is funded solely by charitable donations from generous leaders and companies within the hospitality industry.
