SAN DIEGO CITY COUNCIL VOTES TO RESCIND SHORT-TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE

SACRAMENTO, CA. – Oct. 22, 2018 – The California Hotel & Lodging Association issued the following statement about the San Diego City Council’s decision Monday to rescind the short-term rental ordinance:

“We support the City Council’s decision to rescind the ordinance and bring forward enforcement that recognizes that short-term rentals are currently illegal to ensure the safety of city neighborhoods,” said Lynn Mohrfeld, President and CEO of the California Hotel & Lodging Association. “We also urge the Council to resolve this issue in short order as it isn’t good policy or good for San Diegans to kick the can down the road again.”
