As part of Calmark Sweden AB's continued strengthening of the organization in view of market and sales launch, Marielle Bos has been recruited for the role as CFO. Up until now, this position has been filled on an interim basis.

Marielle Bos, born in 1970, has extensive experience from leading positions in finance. Her most recent positions were as CFO at Hewlett Packard Sverige AB and at the IT-MedTech company RxEye AB. Marielle has previously held positions such as finance manager, chief controller and business controller, both at national and international level, in companies that include Tieto, SysTeam Outsourcing Services, Tele2 and the MedTech companies Baxter Medical and AGA Linde Healthcare. Marielle will be part of Calmark's Management Team.

"Calmark is in an exciting phase, and has great possibilities," Marielle Bos says. "I look forward to playing my part, alongside my new colleagues, in developing this company to a global leader in POC diagnostics."

"During this year, Calmark will make the leap from a pure development company to a selling company with capacity to deliver products to significant parts of the world. To facilitate that process, we have to reinforce our financial and administrative resources. I am tremendously pleased that we have been able to recruit a CFO with solid experience from both small and large companies; through her efforts, she has made these companies grow and developed important structures. She will be a very valuable asset to the company," says Anna Söderlund, CEO.

Calmark Sweden AB is a medical technology company developing a point-of-care (POC) analyzis method with easier and faster sampling of medical conditions in newborns. The unique test platform, which consists of a reader and single-use products, is expected to be ready for launch in 2020 when three important POC tests are introduced. The WHO estimates that 1.5 billion children will be born worldwide by 2030. In the Western world, the introduction of POC diagnostics is resulting in huge savings and shorter healthcare chains. In less developed healthcare systems, the product helps save lives. Calmark aims to become the global leader and ultimately to offer all relevant POC tests for the first period of life, regardless of where in the world a baby is born.
