Cardo has entered into an agreement to supply hangar doors for Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France. The order is worth SEK 19 million.

In its division Cardo Entrance Solutions, Cardo offers products that include doors of up to 150 meters in width tailored to the requirements of the aircraft, mining and shipyard industries. The doors can be installed in new buildings or in existing ones without the need for reconstruction. The order in question includes installation of Megadoor hangar doors in existing hangars.

“This is a significant order where we meet the customer’s requirement for, among other things, efficient renovation without interrupting operations. It also confirms our ability to meet exacting requirements in respect of reliability and user-friendliness,” says Peter Aru, Cardo’s President and CEO.

The order will be booked in the second quarter. The doors will be produced at the plant in Skellefteå, Sweden, and delivery is expected to occur as of the second quarter 2011.
