Oskar Hägglund, currently IT manager at Attendo, will become the new CIO for Careium in the beginning of 2024. Through his long career in companies such as Connecta, SJ, and Attendo, he has extensive experience in the entire IT spectrum, processes, and initiatives, with an IT responsibility for up to 16,000 employees. Oskar also has extensive experience in managing the work related to strategy, infrastructure, operations, consolidation of acquisitions and has for 10 years held senior positions in IT.

I am incredibly pleased that Oskar is joining us at Careium as our CIO. He brings a wealth of experience, skill, and impressive leadership to the position. Oskar’s understanding of our sector, documented strong leadership and deep understanding of business-related IT are important pieces of the puzzle. They enable us as an IT-heavy organisation to have full focus on driving the function with power and enabling a stronger business for the benefit of hundreds of thousands of seniors and customers" says Christian Walén, CEO Careium.

"I am very happy to join Careium and look forward to continue developing the company's competitiveness, offering and IT capabilities through secure and satisfied customers", says Oskar Hägglund, future CIO of Careium.

Ulrik Nilsson, who since the spin-off from Doro has had the role of Careium's COO, with responsibility for both IT and Supply Chain, will from the beginning of 2024, take on the role of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO). Ulrik will now work dedicatedly with Supply Chain, where he has long and significant experience.

"Ulrik, with his enormous competence and execution power, will take full responsibility for our strategic Supply Chain function. High competence and full focus are central for us as a producing company with significantly increasing product sales. Ulrik's new role and refined focus enable new interfaces and a more flexible working model between Supply Chain, our development departments, and production partners. We are already seeing the effects of Ulrik's work with new projects, cost reductions, and strengthened collaboration internally and externally around the production chain," continues Christian Walén.

"With a refined Supply Chain, we will, together with our R&D drive increased cost efficiency and sustainability throughout the production and Supply Chain, further strengthen our leading position, and contribute to the company's growth and development", says Ulrik Nilsson, future CSCO of Careium.

Both Oskar Hägglund and Ulrik Nilsson will be part of Careium's group management and report to the CEO. They will assume their roles on the 8th of January 2024.
