Carrier Transicold UK Showcases Latest Addition to Vector™ Range
Stand 3D110, Hall 3, Commercial Vehicle Show, NEC, Birmingham, 14 – 16 April 2015
WARRINGTON, England, April 14, 2015 – Carrier Transicold UK will present the Vector™ 1350 unit, the latest addition to its family of trailer refrigeration units, at the 2015 Commercial Vehicle Show. Carrier Transicold, which operates in the UK as Carrier Transicold UK, helps improve global transport and shipping temperature control with a complete line of equipment for refrigerated trucks, trailers and containers, and is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
The Vector 1350 unit forms part of an extensive range of temperature controlled van, truck and trailer systems offered by Carrier Transicold UK – providing solutions for everything from long distance trunking to multi-drop urban distribution.
Weighing around 645 kilograms, the lightweight Vector 1350 unit’s clever design ensures it maximises payload potential and reliability while minimising fuel consumption and system downtime – attributes that make the Vector 1350 unit an attractive choice for busy trailer rental fleets.
“Temperature controlled transport is a demanding sector where performance, reliability and efficiency are essential ingredients,” said John Forster, sales and marketing director, Carrier Transicold UK. “The Vector 1350 unit completes a full range of trailer refrigeration units, which ensures there is a Vector unit for every mission. This allows customers to fine-tune their fleets to deliver optimum performance.”
The Vector 1350 unit is powered by a highly efficient 1.1-litre engine, which has helped to reduce fuel consumption by up to 30 per cent compared with the previous generation Maxima range. It also carries 27 per cent less refrigerant thanks to its advanced microchannel condenser coil.
Carrier Transicold is also presenting its new everCOLD™ flexible maintenance packages and oneCALL™ incident management service at the CV Show, following their international launch at the IAA Show in Hanover in September 2014.
