Catella Bank expands in Gothenburg
Catella Bank is expanding its wealth management operations by recruiting four persons in Gothenburg. This constitutes a part of Catella's strategy of establishing a strong alternative to the standardised service available at the large banks, by further building on Catella’s strong reputation among company and property owners.
Catella Bank offers wealth management and card services. The bank currently has approximately 130 employees and its head office is located in Luxembourg. The Swedish bank branch is in the course of being built up and currently has approximately 37 employees at offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Växjö.
“The bank’s Swedish branch is now also represented in Gothenburg. We are now starting up the business with enormous enthusiasm and pleasure in our work with the employees Magnus Larsson, Filip Hansen, Henric Jonsson and Jan Klippvik. Catella already enjoys a strong position within Corporate Finance and has an express desire to expand within wealth management,” says Mikael Pauli, Head of Wealth Management at Catella Bank.
The aim is to develop a bank which is attractive to entrepreneurs, wealthy private individuals, and institutions and which can constitute a strong alternative to the standardised service available at the large banks. Catella Bank will do so by further building on Catella’s strong reputation among company and property owners, and by utilising the management skills and property know-how available within the group.
