Catella’s new venture within wealth management
The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has given the go ahead to Catella as new owner of EKF Enskild Kapitalförvaltning, which is changing its name to Catella Förmögenhetsförvaltning.
“Catella’s wealth management team will possess specialist expertise in constructing model portfolios. Just as Internet brokers are the do-it-yourself alternative, so Catella's wealth management will be the full-service alternative, says Fredrik Sauter, CEO of Catella Förmögenhetsförvaltning.
Catella Förmögenhetsförvaltning offers independent financial advisory services within long-term wealth management. Catella’s total Asset Management has approximately SEK 45 billion in assets under management and the objective is to grow further within wealth management over the next few years.
Catella Förmögenhetsförvaltning’s offering is based on charging the client directly. Catella will assume responsibility for, and take into account, the client’s risk level and investment horizon when selecting the assets included in the portfolio. The objective is to provide the client with a good return relative to the client’s risk level and that the return will be less dependent on fluctuations in stock market sentiment. It is a matter of always creating cost-efficient solutions to ensure that the client’s goals are reached.
