Catena AB (publ) has acquired and takes possession today of the Malmö Urnes 1 property, which is located in close proximity to IKEA’s future establishment in the Svågertorp’s commercial area.

The buildings were constructed in 2006 and comprise one auto repair shop and a car wash totaling approximately 2,130 square meters. The land area is approximately 8,500 square meters.

The premises are currently vacant.

The seller is the Sixth AP Fund.

The acquisition is in a company form (limited partnership) and based on an underly-ing property value of SEK 24 M.

“We recognize the potential in developing the property in the Svågertorp’s commer-cial area, which has experienced strong growth in recent years. This development is strengthened by the establishment of IKEA in the area,” says Peter Hallgren.
