In September 2020, Catena acquired a newly constructed logistics facility in the Municipality of Borås, with Nelly as a tenant. Through a supplementary agreement, Catena will now be financing the automation solution with track systems to be installed within the property. The solution will be manufactured by Autostore and delivered by Element Logic. Nelly will have the option of acquiring the equipment at a later date.
“With our expertise and experience in the area of logistics, we are able to resolve our customers’ needs and contribute to their business in a broader perspective. Our mutually beneficial partnership with Nelly, is further strengthened through this arrangement,” says Jonas Arvidsson, Regional Manager at Catena.
Catena perceives increased demand for this type of complete solution as most new logistics facilities now contain a high degree of automation.
