Catena has initiated negotiations with a Norwegian property company regarding the divestment of properties in Norway

Catena has initiated negotiations regarding the divestment of four properties in Norway. The properties are located in the Oslo region. The combined floor space of the properties amounts to about 32,200 square meters and constitutes slightly more than 20 per cent of Catena’s total property portfolio. The divestment will take place on the basis of a corporate transaction. The due diligence process has begun with the objective of completing the transaction during spring 2010. “During the past three years, Catena has invested the equivalent of about SEK 150 million in its Norwegian properties, which have been upgraded to modern vehicle facilities. A divestment entails leaving Norway and focusing on advancing the Swedish operations,” says Peter Hallgren, President of Catena.
