The extension of approximately 1,850 square metres will be constructed adjacent to DHL Freight’s 16,940 square-metre terminal at Logistics Position Sunnanå, outside Malmö. DHL intends to add further capacity through the project. The extension is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2020 and the length of the tenant’s contract will also be adjusted to ten years in connection with the project.

“It is highly satisfying to be able to help DHL, a world leader in the logistics industry, to further develop its operations and that it perceives potential for development at Logistics Position Sunnanå,” says Jörgen Eriksson, Catena’s Regional Manager for Malmö.

DHL Freight offers companies domestic and international logistics services – from parcel deliveries, express deliveries and road, air and sea transport to industrial logistics solutions for entire product supply chains.

“Our terminal in Malmö is important to us and we see opportunities to expand our service capacity at the site. Catena’s understanding of our needs facilitates our operations and we look forward to further deepening our partnership,” says Lena Arvidsson, Vice President Freight Terminal Based Operations at DHL Freight.
