The property company Catena, which is listed on the O-List of the Stockholm Stock Exchange, is making its first two major investments since the debut on the exchange on April 26. Catena has decided to initiate the renovation and expansion of the bodywork and painting facility in Almedal.

The property is Catena’s oldest and after extensive work will become a modern facility. In conjunction with the implementation of the project, a new 15-year lease is being signed with Bilia.

Also in cooperation with Bilia, Catena will construct a new tire storage facility at the complex in Sisjön, Göteborg.

The total investment is about SEK 42 million.

“The investment is a step in the strategy to continue to develop and enhance the value of our properties in close cooperation with our largest tenant, Bilia,” says President Peter Hallgren.

Catena’s properties are located in strong commercial locations along traffic arteries approaching major cities in four growth areas: the Stockholm and Mälar Valley region, the Western Götaland region, the Öresund region and the Oslo region. Catena will grow in these and other regions through acquisitions and adding value to properties.
