In the western part of Växjö, near the airport and adjacent to main road 25, Catena has leased premises to the expanding ice cream company Alvestaglass. Within the Postiljonen 1 property, 6,700 square metres will provide warehousing for the company’s assortment of ice cream, beverages and snacks. Alvestaglass’ objective is to become one of the largest ice cream companies in the Nordic region.

“We welcome Alvestaglass to premises that are very well suited to the company’s operations and ambitions. There are also additional development rights for the property, meaning there are good prospects for further expansion,” says Jörgen Eriksson, Regional Manager at Catena.

“We perceive considerable potential in the area and, in our collaboration with Catena, we see opportunities, over time, to supplement existing premises with additional functions, associated in particular with our growing range of LOHILO functional drinks and snacks,” says Dan Isaksson, Master Ice Cream Maker at Alvestaglass.

Alvestaglass has already moved into its new premises.
