Catena purchases car facility in Gothenburg

Catena has decided to acquire a car facility in the Sisjö area of Gothenburg.

The property was constructed in 2002 by Catena, but was sold to Skandrenting with an option to buyback the property. Catena is now exercising the option.

The property is about 5,000 m2. The tenant is Bilia Fordon AB, a Ford dealer in the Gothenburg region. The lease runs for an additional 15 years.

The purchase consideration is about SEK 64 M. Occupancy is as of October 31.

”The acquisition is fully in line with our business strategy to acquire commercial properties in prime locations in growth areas,” says Peter Hallgren, President of Catena.
