Catena develops, owns and manages efficient logistics facilities supplying Scandinavia’s metropolitan areas. Being excellently situated for logistics, Ängelholm is an important community for the company, which also owns several logistics facilities within the municipality. Catena has supported the Rögle BK ice hockey team for many years and the partnership is now shifting up a gear with Catena taking over as the sponsor of the arena.
“Catena sponsors commitments and activities contributing to positive and sustainable community development and supporting Rögle BK is fully in line with this. The collaboration benefits both the top-level ice hockey team, as well as the club’s aggressive sustainability efforts and ambitious activities for children and young people, in which both girls and boys have opportunities to develop in their sport in a socially rewarding context,” says Catena’s CEO Benny Thögersen.
“We are happy and proud that Catena, which has roots in the local community, is putting its name on the arena and each of our brands can strengthen the other through this partnership. Catena’s commitment empowers us to further develop our business,” notes Marcus Thuresson, President of Rögle BK.
Catena is signing a two-year agreement regarding the name rights as of the 2019/20 season. The change of name will take place on 1 May 2019.
