The Hyltena 1:98 property, is a 200,000 m2 parcel of land, immediately adjacent to the E4 motorway at the Hyltena interchange. The purchase consideration for the land amounts to approximately SEK 56 million and the seller is Södra Munksjön Utvecklings AB, a subsidiary of the Municipality of Jönköping.

For a long time, the Jönköping region has held a strong position as one of the Nordic region’s best logistics locations with favourable conditions for supplying the Finnish, Danish and Norwegian markets with next-day deliveries.

“Demand in the region is very high and the acquisition allows us to offer more players opportunities to establish operations in an attractive location offering everything you could want from a logistics perspective – infrastructure, reach and hard-to-beat supply-chain expertise,” says Catena’s CEO Jörgen Eriksson.

Catena already holds an option to acquire the land, for which a detailed development plan is in place.
