Catena welcomes Apotek Hjärtat as a new tenant in Norrköping

Sweden’s largest private pharmacy chain Apotek Hjärtat is now moving into one of Catena’s logistics properties in Norrköping.

Catena has signed a seven-year agreement with ICA Fastigheter, which will, in turn, lease the facility to another company in the ICA group, Apotek Hjärtat – a nationwide pharmacy chain with approximately 390 pharmacies and more than 3,000 employees. The lease is for 13,618 sqm of space in Catena’s Adaptern 1 property, which is located at the Ingelsta industrial site in Norrköping. The agreement also includes an option for an additional area of approximately 6,000 sqm, with the property having a total lettable area of approximately 28,430 sqm. In connection with the leasing, the premises will be adapted to the needs of the tenant.

“We have had good relations with the ICA Group for a long time, and they lease from us in numerous locations around Sweden. We are very pleased to have had this opportunity to again identify a favourable solution, further expanding our partnership,” says Tobias Karlsson, Catena’s Regional Manager for Stockholm.

Apotek Hjärtat plans to move into its new premises during the summer of 2022.
