New Sustainability Manager at Catena
Tove Palm will assume the position of Sustainability Manager at Catena on 1 March. The newly-established position involves overall responsibility for coordinating, developing and managing the company’s combined sustainability efforts.
1 March 2019, 1:00 p.m.
Tove joins Catena from Total Produce Nordic where she was responsible for and developed the company’s sustainability work. She has previously worked with supplier approval at Everfresh AB, a company within Total Produce Nordic.
Sustainable development has long been a prioritised strategy for Catena with operational objectives including active participation in social development, green financing and the continuous improvement of energy efficiency in the company’s properties. The position will be a strategically important Group-wide function for the company.
“Tove’s recruitment is a natural and important step in Catena’s endeavour to take responsibility ecologically and socially, as well as economically. Although we have progressed far in our sustainability work, with a stronger focus on these issues, we will be able to achieve even more positive effects, benefiting both the world around us and our operations,” says Catena’s CEO Benny Thögersen.
