Logistics property company Catena has signed an agreement to sell an industrial property in Trelleborg.
8 February 2022, 1.30 p.m.
Catena intends to sell the Terminalen 1 property in Trelleborg for a purchase consideration of nearly SEK 130 million. The buyer is the Municipality of Trelleborg.
The property, which is situated in Trelleborg’s eastern industrial area, comprises a plot of approximately 142,000 m2 and lettable space of approximately 24,300 m2, which is largely industrial premises with some office space.
“The transaction represents a good solution for both parties – the property’s functions do not correspond fully to Catena’s focus, while the purchase generates new opportunities for urban planning and continued development in the Municipality of Trelleborg,” says Fredrik Renå, Regional Manager at Catena.
The transaction is conditional on an implementation decision being taken by Trelleborg Municipal Council on 21 March.
