Solna city council Monday evening approved the zoning plan comprising Catena’s two remaining properties Stora Frösunda 2 and Hagalund 2:2. The approval is an important milestone in the project development work that Catena has conducted over the past years.

”The approval is a positive decision and clears the way for continued development of our property in line with our plans. The property and its grounds, better known as Bilia Haga Norra, holds great possibilities for further development of modern housing, offices and commercial businesses”, says Andreas Philipson, CEO of Catena.

Catena will now proceed to plan in more detail the development that among other things include 800 new apartments and 50 000 sq. m. commercial space. Construction is tentatively set to start in 2014. In parallel with the development work, the letting process continues in order to identify and attract new commercial customers to the area.
