Caverion to appoint a Managing Director for Caverion Denmark
Michael Højgaard (born 1961) has been appointed as the Managing Director of Caverion Denmark as of September 1, 2017. Since January 2016, Caverion Denmark and Caverion Norway have been operating as one division headed by Knut Gaaserud, Executive Vice President & CEO, Division Denmark-Norway. Højgaard will report to Knut Gaaserud.
Michael Højgaard has previously acted as the CEO of Lindpro in 2005–2013 and most recently as the CEO of Air Greenland. From 1998 to 2005 he served as Vice President at SAS Technical Services AB in Stockholm. He is educated from the Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen Business School, INSEAD and Columbia Business School. Højgaard is also a member of the board of CN3.
“Højgaard will be positioned close to the Danish market and employees. He will further develop our Danish business in line with the Group strategy,” says Gaaserud.
Højgaard looks forward to the position at Caverion Denmark.
“In most of my previous positions I have worked in large, technically oriented companies, where my focus has been on commercialisation and optimisation through management and employee development. The installation industry is demanding but has many development opportunities. Caverion Denmark has undergone a major restructuring, and it will be exciting to further develop the company so that it will gain an even stronger position in the market,” says Højgaard.
