JL Audio, a U.S. market-leader in high-performance marine audio products, will be exhibiting at METS for the first time in Amsterdam from 18th – 20th November 2014. The company is seeking to explore business opportunities with boat builders and fitters aiming to deliver a superior audio experience to their clients.

JL Audio’s UK-based European distributor Celsus will be on hand, alongside JL Audio’s VP-International Sales, George Jenkins and Marine Sales Director, Don Nesbit.

JL Audio currently works closely with some of the USA’s biggest and best boat builders to design and supply audio systems that exceed client expectations and enhance the boat ownership experience. A total commitment to sound quality, and engineering excellence, drives the company to explore, research and develop unique technologies and products that advance the state of the art.

To support that effort, in-house laboratories for acoustic, mechanical and environmental engineering provide the necessary resources to develop JL Audio’s core technologies. These advances lead to cleaner sound at the high output levels demanded by the open-air marine environment and exceptional reliability when subjected to real marine conditions. The company’s product offering is vast, with multiple levels of loudspeaker and electronics products to fit a wide range of build budgets.

JL Audio’s marine loudspeakers are built in the company’s Miramar factory in Florida to ensure high performance and consistent manufacturing precision. In-house manufacturing also permits JL Audio to be highly responsive to specific customer needs and to requests for special finishes and content. In addition to loudspeakers, JL Audio offers a full range of high-quality audio electronics. These currently include amplifiers and connection products, and will soon include source units as well. The amplifier range has models ranging from 200 watts to 1,000 watts, and up to eight channels of amplification in one compact unit.

George Jenkins, VP-International Sales, JL Audio, Inc said: “We are very much looking forward to METS 2014 as we seek to explore opportunities for marine audio business in Europe, and beyond. Along with our distribution partners Celsus, we think we have a lot to offer to this market.”
