Buhck Group Secures Distributed IT Infrastructure with Clavister Solutions
German environmental services provider deploys Clavister to secure distributed IT infrastructure

Buhck Group, an environmental service provider based in Hamburg, Germany, has completed a deployment of Clavister’s Next Generation Firewalls to secure its distributed IT infrastructure.
Working with its IT partner Vater NetCom, Buhck has replaced its existing firewall estate with the Clavister solution. It has installed four of Clavister’s enterprise-class High Availabilty (HA) firewalls at its Hamburg HQ, and is using Clavister firewalls across its 15 branch offices, all of which are connected via a secured VPN back to HQ. The Clavister solution was selected as it delivers robust, high performance and scalable security, providing Buhck with a cost-effective and customisable solution.
The deployment will enable Buhck to expand its firewall estate and functionality as the business grows without further investment in additional hardware. Buhck now has a solution is able to adapt to meet its changing bandwidth, load balancing and Gbps speed requirements. In addition, Buhck is using Clavister’s integrated, centralised management platform, InControl, to manage all its Clavister firewalls.

As well as meeting all of its technical requirements, an additional value-add for Buhck was that Clavisters solutions are all built on Clavister’s fully-owned, internally developed software. This provides a 100% guarantee that the solution doesn’t have any backdoors that could be exploited by competitors or government agencies.
