With a commitment to accelerated innovation, the company readies solutions for the market with intellectual protections.

Clavister (NASDAQ: CLAV), a leader in high-performance network security solutions, has submitted a patent to the Swedish Patent Agency concerning its newly innovated advanced traffic management algorithm, a solution invented by a team of senior software engineers at Clavister.

The solution primarily addresses quality of service (QoS) issues in congested networks, a critical challenge in multi-cored systems that need increase performance on every additional CPU core that is added to the system a.k.a scaling.

“Providing efficient Quality of Service (QoS) requires advanced algorithms and most of them suffer from scalability problems when the number of CPU cores in a system increases. The algorithm developed at Clavister can scale over a large number of CPU cores without losing accuracy. This means that Service Providers can more accurately provision services to their customers, which effectively improves customer satisfaction and ability to charge for services accordingly,” states Mikael Olsson, CTO of Clavister.
