Next-generation firewalling offered in an effective and highly flexible rental model

Clavister  a leader in high-performance network security is showcasing its next-generation firewall (NGFW) solutions at two booths at CeBIT 2016 in Hannover from 14th to 18th of March. Both sysob IT distribution (Hall 6, Stand G16), as well as distributor ALLNET (Hall 13, Stand C57) are representing Clavister, and showing the new flexible MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) license model – a rental model that especially appeals to small and medium sized enterprises.

The new MSSP rental model from Clavister is based on the E20 appliance. Distributors such as sysob and ALLNET are able to offer SME customers a high performance Next-Generation Firewall including all enterprise features, at a very competitive price point with no upfront capital costs.

The highly scalable Clavister firewall solution expands with companies’ needs and provides exactly the level of security required.  This flexibility is supported in other Clavister NGFWs such as the W20, W30 and W50.

Andreas Zenk, product manager at ALLNET, commented: “Clavister’s next-generation firewalls are naturally suited for large corporations, but can also meet the specific needs of small and medium businesses. The flexible rental model Clavister offers allows us to reach a very wide range of industries and company sizes."

Markus Senbert, Manager Inside Sales at sysob IT Distribution, said: "Finally, SMEs will have the opportunity to take full advantage of NGFWs. Clavister makes this possible - and at an extremely low monthly fee, giving enterprise features at bargain pricing.”

Clavister’s solutions range from entry level next-generation firewalls (NGFW) in desktop-sized packages, to Virtual Series Gateways that enable the highest levels of throughput, offering six nines (99.9999%) availability for carrier-grade security in the most demanding network environments.  Clavister recently introduced a range of solutions for mobile network operators to secure 4G and LTE networks, enabling mobile network operators to secure their networks against cyberattacks and data interception.
