Clavister Expanding with Southeast Asian Mobile Network Operator
Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, 17 September 2020. Clavister, a leader in high performance cybersecurity solutions, has been appointed by a Southeast Asian Mobile Network Operator to deliver additional use-cases to the operator’s network.
The Southeast Asian operator, who just recently launched its first 5G service, initiated roll-out of Clavister’s virtualized cybersecurity solution last year. The initial deployment was limited to securing the operator’s operations and management network.
Following the successful initial implementation, the operator has now decided to expand the deployment of the Clavister solution to also secure the Gi/SGi interface between the operator’s mobile core network and the public internet.
The Gi/SGi interface is not only one of the most traffic-intensive locations in a mobile network, but also one of the most critical points for operators to secure.
