Clavister has announced the launch of its latest entry level next-generation security gateway, the W30, bringing unmatched price/performance capability, performance and port flexibility to branch offices and small sized data centres.
The Clavister W30 delivers firewall performance of up to 8Gbps, providing a powerful, and expandable network security solution, at an attractive price point, offering enhanced port flexibility via its interface expansion module slot, offering a selection of port options, and greater scalability to meet all future business requirements. It can also support up to a million concurrent connections and delivers up to 300Mbps VPN performance.

The W30 solution supports Clavister’s next-generation firewall services including True Application Control, Content Security Services and User Identity Awareness. It also includes additional features such as server load balancing, WAN load balancing and DDoS protection which help ensure network performance.
Clavister’s True Application Control service enables in-depth analysis and management of application content, helping to identify Skype IDs, SQL queries, Facebook chat text, VoIP call information and more. Together with User Identity Awareness, this gives powerful, granular visibility and control over users’ access to applications across networks, enabling business-critical application usage to be prioritised and increasing overall business productivity. Clavister’s Content Security Services include IDS / IPS, web content filtering and antivirus, giving users advanced security functions to help protect organisations against web threats.
