Correction: Clavister Receives Significant Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) Order From A North African Customer
Correction refers to the reference to EUs Market Abuse Regulation and wording on the significance of the order
The latest order for MFA by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Tunisia to secure CNAM (Caisse nationale d'assurance-maladie) opens for a long-term cooperation built on trust and security with the Tunisian public sector.
Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, 3 October, 2018. Clavister, a leader in high-performance cybersecurity solutions, has received a new, significant order for its Multi Factor Authentication solution. The customer The National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) in Tunisia with more than 11 million residents will use Clavister’s MFA to protect and confirm identities for internal and external services. CNAM is an institution introduced by the health insurance reform, which aims in particular to unify the health insurance schemes and health services in the country. CNAM has 62 regional and local centers spread throughout the Tunisian territory.
The order’s significance comes from the fact that it represents the second new market for Clavister’s MFA solution in the last week (see “Clavister Secures Large Asian University With Multi factor Authentication Offering” 28 September, 2018) with this one entering the product into the North African market for the first time.
Identity Access Management (IAM) is a vital functionality to protect business and end user assets. In order to achieve heightened integrity modern solutions requires to be user friendly and meet the diversified demands from a large organization. By using MFA, CNAM will gain situational awareness and heightened security.
“We’re extremely honored that such a large public institution like CNAM has chosen our solution to protect their users. We believe that strong authentication and IAM is an absolute must have for a proper and safe network; simply put, passwords are no longer enough. Using our technology, CNAM will experience a more secure network and their users will be guarded from identity fraud,” says Peter Lauren, CEO of PhenixID, part of the Clavister Group.
