A South-east Asian government agency, in charge of building a public safety mobile network, has chosen Clavister for protection of its network infrastructure.

Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. July 5, 2018. Clavister, a leader in high-performance cybersecurity solutions, announces that its Virtual Security Solution for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), has been selected by a South-east Asian government agency for infrastructure security. The infrastructure, a Bluelight system, protects public safety and crisis information flows using a mobile platform. The first order is a small proof-of-concept order, but is anticipated to grow as per experience from other orders of similar construction.

“This order is a very meaningful one in that it shows that the Clavister virtual security solution is also chosen for telecom use cases outside the typical commercial mobile networks,” states Clavister’s Erik Engström, Vice President of Communication Service Provider Sales.

“While the initial customers were traditional commercial mobile operators, with this order, we now see deployments of Clavister’s virtualized security technology in other telecom use cases be that public safety, critical infrastructure or other areas. This is certainly an interesting space we’ll pursue going forward and a massive vote of confidence that our solution is trusted by such a cautious customer group,” John Vestberg, President and CEO of Clavister explains.
