Proposal to elect Jan Svensson as new board member of Climeon

On behalf of Climeon AB’s (publ) main shareholder and CEO Thomas Öström, who represents 53,6% of the votes and 19,6% of the shares in Climeon AB, the Board of Directors of Climeon AB will within short summon to an extraordinary general meeting, at which Thomas Öström will propose to elect Jan Svensson as a new Board member. Jan Svensson will also be proposed to be appointed as vice Chairman of the Board.

Jan Svensson, born 1956, previously CEO and President of Investment AB Latour for 16 years, has significant experience as a Board member and Chairman of listed companies. He is currently active as Chairman of AB Fagerhult, Troax Group AB, Alimak Group AB and Tomra Systems ASA as well as Board member of Assa Abloy AB and Loomis AB.

Jan Svensson has notified that he will be available for election as a new Board member of Climeon. 

Thomas Öström has also notified that he has granted Jan Svensson a total of 75,000 call options representing an equal number of underlying B-shares with maturity date until 31 May 2024 and on market terms in general.
