Clinical Laserthermia Systems AB (publ) announces today the release of a CE-marked new version of TRANBERG® | Thermoguide™ Workstation. The new version is developed for use also with MRI scanners in GE Healthcare's product range.

The Thermoguide™ Workstation, of the TRANBERG® | Thermal Therapy System continuously captures and processes images and thermometry data from an MRI scanner in real-time. The resulting information is presented graphically, as temperature maps and calculated ablation volume, superimposed on high-resolution anatomical images. In addition, Thermoguide™ Workstation includes features for precise monitoring and control of the ablation procedure, all developed with procedural safety and efficacy in mind.

- After a successful collaboration with GE Healthcare and our partner Image Guided Therapy, we are now releasing a CE-marked new version of TRANBERG Thermoguide Workstation that can be used also with MRI scanners from GE Healthcare. This means we are broadening our market significantly as we can now offer our product line to European customers with MRI scanners from both GE Healthcare as well as Siemens Healthineers says Perjan Pleunis, VP Sales in Europe at CLS.

- An important goal for us this year is to be able to offer our product line to European customers having MRI scanners from all the leading manufacturers. To reach this goal CLS is now also working closely with Philips to include their MRI scanners in an upcoming release, says Dan J. Mogren, Acting CEO of CLS.

About TRANBERG® | ThermoguideTM Workstation

Thermoguide Workstation connects TRANBERG® | Thermal Therapy System with an MRI scanner and visualizes tissue temperature and extent of tissue ablation performed, both numerically and graphically on the image sequences of the treatment area that are continuously generated by the MRI scanner. By accessing image sequences with minimal delay, the software enables tissue temperature measurements in real time as well as calculation of ablation size with high precision and accuracy. All clearly presented in a graphic user interface to give treating physicians optimal guidance and a safe and efficient workflow during treatment.
