Novator comments on the outcome of the Amer Sports AGM

Novator welcomes that a process of change began at the AGM of Amer Sports on Wednesday. At the meeting a constructive dialog and open discussion between shareholders took place. Novator is satisfied with the conclusions reached at the AGM.

Novator has called for an EGM, and asks for it to be held on the 4th of June 2008 at the latest. The Amer Sports Board has committed to initiating discussions on rejuvenating the composition of the Board immediately.

Novator drives shareholder involvement in its investee companies. It is delighted that its views have been taken into account and that the larger international shareholders are backing its stance. Novator believes that a new sense of urgency, increased aspirations and the highest corporate governance standards are needed immediately in Amer Sports, as valuable time has already been lost. The company now needs to be taken back onto a positive track.
