Planned changes in Componenta’s management implemented following the acquisition of Komas Oy: Harri Suutari to start as a member of the Board of Directors, Marko Penttinen as the President and CEO

The plans concerning changes in Componenta’s management announced by the company on 4 June 2019 were implemented today, 30 August 2019, when the acquisition of Komas Oy was completed. Following the closing of the acquisition, Harri Suutari, who previously served as Componenta’s President and CEO, starts as a member of Componenta’s Board of Director in accordance with the resolution passed by the Extraordinary General Meeting on 1 July 2019. Following Suutari’s transfer to the company’s Board of Directors, Marko Penttinen, who previously served as Komas Oy’s CEO, starts as Componenta’s President and CEO, effective immediately.

With Harri Suutari starting as a member of Componenta’s Board of Directors, the number of the members of the Board of Directors will increase from four to five in accordance with the resolution passed by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 1 July 2019. Anne Leskelä, Asko Nevala, Harri Pynnä and Petteri Walldén will continue as members of the Board of Directors.
